Artist's Bio
Eric graduated from the Univeristy of Idaho
with a BFA in Performance. During his tenure at Idaho he performed
in many productions, including Friar Laurence in Romeo &
Juliet, and Trofimov in The Cherry Orchard. His professional
credits include roles in The Idaho Repertory Theatre's Productions
of The Merry Wives of Windsor and The Taming of The Shrew.
Since arriving in Seattle he has studied a bit at Freehold
and perfrormed as Tybalt in The Seattle Public Theatre's production
of Romeo & Juliet, an orignal surrealist work titled Simone
at the 2002 Mae West Fest, and in ReAct's award
winning The Day They Shot John Lennon at the 2002 Seattle
Fringe Festival.
Eric has also worked
with The Art Theatre of Puget Sounds (founded by Russian Master
Teacher Leonid Anisimov) in their production of Anton Chekhov's
The Three Sisters. Eric's goal is to develope a craft or technique
based in the tradition of Stanislaski and further developed
by the likes of Lee Strasberg, Stella Adler, Michael Chekhov,
and Uta Hagen.
He also has a deep love for Shakespeare,
and has the utmost respect for the technical teachings of
John Barton, and the physical and vocal approaches of Kristen
Linklater.
