Artist's Bio
Eric recently moved to the New York City area, in January of 2006. He is
now a member of Actor's Equity (and is eligible for both SAG and AFTRA), and
completed his on-camera demo
reel.
Eric was extremely active in the Seattle theatre scene for the four and a half
years he lived there, doing two shows with ReAct, as well as performing with
Village Theatre, Showtunes, Centerstage, Seattle Public Theatre, Annex, Cabaret
Productions, GAP Theatre, and a host of others.
In San Francisco, his acting career continued to be busy and fruitful.
Highlights include the Prince in Snow White and Several Dweebs at the Oregon
Cabaret Theatre (Ashland, OR), the lead role, Menachem, in Moonwatcher (an
original musical backed up by a klezmer band with A Traveling Jewish Theatre),
Blaine Rogers in Roberta with 42nd Street Moon (starring Kathryn Crosby, Bing
Crosby's widow), and most recently, Mayor Gronam in The MeshugaNutcracker!,
touring four cities in California and earning a rave review in the L.A. Times.
He also did several industrials and voiceovers, and a national commercial for
Star Wars: Battlefront, and some teaching work.
Please drop him a line, especially if you are in the NYC area, or just to touch
base! For more info, check out his website at www.ericstarker.com, regularly
