Artist's Bio
Joanna grew up in Spokane, Washington where
she was very involved in the theater community. She was a
founding member of the youth performance troupe, the Box 'n
Hat Players and continued as a member of that singing, dancing,
touring group until she graduated from high school.
Some favorite Spokane credits include Lizzie
in The Rainmaker, Lucy in You're a Good Man, Charlie
Brown, Bebe in A Chorus Line, Kelly in Dusk,
Becky in Almost the Bride of Dracula, and Maria in
West Side Story. Joanna came to Seattle to attend Cornish
College for theater in 1994 and has performed throughout the
Seattle area ever since. Some favorite Seattle credits include
Phoebe in As You Like It, Hope Harcourt in Anything
Goes, Panacea in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way
to the Forum, Iris Fernberger in Kiss Me Quick Before
the Lava Reaches the Village, and Sally Smith in Me
& My Girl. Joanna is currently pursuing her passion for
beautiful and challenging cooking at Seattle Central's Culinary
Arts Program.
