Artist's Bio
After a two-year hiatus from the Seattle
theater community, Nina returned in 2003 with The Joy Luck
Club, which was also her first project with ReAct. From 1995-2000, Nina worked primarily with
Theatre Babylon as an actor, director, playwright, producer,
designer and technician. Most significantly, Nina wrote, directed
and produced The Erotic Divine: La Voix Femme in 2000
during the Mae West Fest (a celebration of women playwrights
and directors) and also during an independent run at the Union
Garage Performance Space. Her other original works include
Coiled and Dichotomy from 1998, which she also
directed. She has performed in the Seattle Fringe Theatre
Festival in 1999 and 2000, and the Mae West Fest from 1996
(its inception) to 2001.
Nina has a Bachelor of Arts, Journalism major,
Art History minor from Western Washington University in Bellingham,
Washington. She sends much thanks and love to Amie,
whose support has been immeasurable.
