Artist's Bio

Rachel found her love of the arts at a very early age. She has been singing in public with her family and dancing in recitals since the 3rd grade, and began mimicing vocal patterns, dialects and movement around the same time. As a freshman in high school, she had her community theatre debut in Narnia as Lucy Pevensie, one of her favorite roles. Since then, she has been in numerous musicals, dramas, comedies and reviews in several theatres in the Seattle area and in Bellingham. Among Rachel's favorite roles are: Snoopy in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Connie Wong in A Chorus Line, Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors, Hippolyta/Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Yente in Fiddler On The Roof.

Rachel has a B.A. in Theatre Arts at Western Washington University and an A.A. with an emphasis in music at Highline Community College. Some of her past occupations include being a salesperson, registrar's assistant, choreographer, gift wrapper, teacher and tutor. Eventually, Rachel would like to move away from the daily 8-5 grind and begin studying music, dancing, theatre and massage therapy full time, as well as performing as much as possible. Special thanks go out to God for His mercy and love and to her family and friends for their understanding, encouragement and patience.
