Cast/Crew Notes/Reminders

REHEARSAL NOTES - 4/29 Tuesday
*ALL - Good work last night.
*ELLEN - Do you have any sleeveless lavender or purple solid tops?
*HOSPITAL FOLK - Our "official" hospital gowns and scrubs will hopefully be arriving Thursday night.
*LISA - Move farther SR on "...and you move away and you do therapy and you get some distance." and move back "But then when you get home..."
*LISA - Maintain the belly scratch through all of "congestive heart failure seven times" line.
*LISA - Move SR further on "Please audience...no drinks" so that you're in front of the platforms, giving Ann food throw/grabber pick-up space.
*ALL - Be extra aware of backstage noise....we can hear just about everything through that curtain.
*LISA - Make the turn and reaction to Lori's first appearance through the curtain a bigger shock...
*NURSES - Keep your scenes with Lisa before she enters her room (tour, water test) farther downstage.
*LISA - Take your pulse using your neck during the food test.
*JOY - Without taking any more time...the corn list should actually sound like other than corn syrup, you can't think of any other corn items so instead you say "all kinds of corn"...that's funnier anyways.
*ENSEMBLE - We need to reposition the 4th of July tableau.
*LORI - Say "Ha" from where you are standing and then full cross out, rather than move say ha and finish cross out.
*ELLEN & GORDY - Switch places after the Lori chase so that Gordy is closer to Marcel.
*BIG OSCAR - Due to sightlines house right...I don't think the idea of coming over the platforms would work...keep coming from the side as you have been doing.
*DOTTIE - Stick with Howard before the Ann's Big Oscar confrontation...You both need to follow Roberta downstage not lead her so wait for her to come around.
*WENDY (& LISA) - Not sure the lights should look like their changing after Ann's big speech leading into the ensemble revolt...perhaps delaying a light change until perhaps Lisa makes one (signaling to the booth op) on "we're going to go to scene 12." (middle of page 65) *ENSEMBLE - You can move closer to Lisa during the revolt scene just stay upstage of the platforms.
*ANN - Deliver "Is it over" when they wake you up to Ellen so we can see you.
*ELLEN - Longer confused beat before answering Ann with "We're not sure." Maybe give/get conferring looks from others in the ensemble.
*LISA - After feeble "calm down" attempt with "Hey"...quickly retreat farther SR into your area infront of the platforms.
*WENDY - No light change when Walayn breaks...should maintain until the final letter.
*LISA - I think we need to cut moving into the living room during the final monolog...just turn and reference to it fondly.

GENERAL NOTES
Please start plugging the show and encouraging people to reserve or buy their tickets in advance!!! Admission is $3 cheaper when purchased in advance.
Comps & Half price ticket reminder: You will all have 5 comps and 8 half price tickets to use up through the 3rd week of the run! Please use them for people who would come again, or who are poor or who would NOT come otherwise, but don't let them go to waste! Also, there is no need to use your half-price tickets on friends who are Theatre Artists,...they get in at half price already! When you know your comp/half price tix reservations, please get those to me. THANKS! Be sure to try to make your guest ticket reservations early...if the shows start selling out, late reservations could possibly not be accomodatable and waitlisted.

Remember we have a secret hidden link directly to this page from ReAct's Homepage so this page and information is easier to access. If you scroll down and click on the small ReAct Logo in the Homepage's footer just to the right of the copywright info, you will jump right to our cast/crew info.

If you have paperwork or documentation to turn in, please try to take care of it as soon as possible,

The number to call to reach us during calltimes is David's cellphone: (206) 251-0081 and/or ShawnJ's cellphone (206) 795-7965.

PR EVENTS

We would love to secure an promotional appearance on NW Afternoon, at some point before or during the run...but we would need to round up about 15 folks to sit in the studio audience on the day of our promo... Please tell me if 1) You can take part (perhaps taking some time off work.) 2) If you know of others you can drag along. 3) If there is a better day for you during the week (M-F) It would be from 2:00-4:00 on the day we pick.

If any of you have friends with connections to ANY media sources: Newspaper, TV, Radio, Web, Magazines, etc...PLEASE tell them about the show and encourage them to come see it or promote it!
