What begins as casual conversation deepens into a night of unexpected intimacy, confession, and reckoning with ambition, loss, and identity. As fate quietly closes in, their fleeting connection becomes a poignant meditation on chance, choice, and the fragile trajectories of ordinary lives.

Grace, a Chinese-American woman, uses a cat’s paw strategy with her white mentor, Robert, to rise up in the racist and sexist 1980s where everything is run by ex-combatants of Asian wars. Her relationship with her new husband, Sig-mon, unravels as his law career is derailed by his alliance with Tommy Shaw, a Chinese-American former go-go fund manager now vilified by Wall Street. Sig-mon’s Ma-mee has lung cancer and her quest for a grandson becomes urgent. At the same time, the CEO heir apparent Rambo Jack has his sights set on Grace. How can Grace grapple with love and war and win?

Dorian strikes a Faustian bargain and is granted eternal youth while the portrait ages and records his sins. Corrupted by Lord Henry Wotton who delights in being a bad influence, Dorian’s pursuit of pleasure devolves into a life of sin and corruption and ultimately devastating consequences. Oscar Wilde’s scandalous classic novel comes to life in this new one-act adaptation!
